Our privacy promise
Who we are
bodhi.kids is run by Bodhi Kids, a registered partnership firm in India. Contact: info@bodhi.kids.
What this is
A daily 7-minute practice for children. In this pilot, there is no AI involved in your child’s practice — the reflections your child reads are written in advance.
What we collect, and nothing more
- From you (parent): your name, email, and phone number, so we can give you access and send you the messages you choose.
- About your child: their first name (or nickname) only, their class and section. We do not collect your child’s surname, date of birth, photo, or address.
- What your child writes in the practice.
- Basic, non-identifying usage information to improve the practice.
Where it lives
On secure servers located in India (Mumbai region).
Who can see your child's writing
Only you, their parent. We never show it to the school or the teacher. The single exception: an automated check flags words that may signal distress, so a person from bodhi.kids can review that entry and contact you if your child may need support. That is the only time anyone at bodhi.kids reads your child’s writing.
What we never do
We never sell or share your child’s data. We never use it for advertising. We never train any AI on your child’s writing. We never track or profile your child.
Your rights
You can see your child’s data, correct it, or delete your child or your account at any time — and the writing is permanently removed. Just ask at info@bodhi.kids, or use the delete option in the app.
Consent
We collect your child’s information only with your verifiable consent, which you give when you add your child. You can withdraw it any time.
The school's role
Your school invited you to this practice. Under India’s data rules, your school acts as the “data fiduciary” and bodhi.kids acts as its “data processor” — meaning we handle the data only to provide this practice, under the school’s instruction, and never for our own separate purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep your child’s information for the duration of the practice and any agreed research period, and delete or anonymise it on your request at any time.
Changes
If we change this promise, we’ll tell you and ask again where the law requires.
